Dominy Construction Group was established in 1994 and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. 

DCG provides full service commercial general contracting to small businesses. DCG is focused on delivering custom capability to small- and mid-size business owners, and a level of control over facility design and construction for Institutional, Industrial and Retail markets. Dominy Construction Group is family-owned, and under Tim’s leadership will remain family-owned in the future, servicing the metro and northeast Georgia region for another generation.

January 2023 –  Dominy Construction Group announced Tim Dominy President of this family-owned commercial construction firm, succeeding the founder, Mike Dominy.

In 2002, upon his graduation from the University of Georgia, Tim joined Dominy Construction Group full time as a junior superintendent. During his 20+ year career, he completed his Commercial Construction Management degree at Gwinnett Tech, and in 2021, received his Full Commercial General Contractors License from the State of Georgia.

Tim is a graduate of the Leadership Jackson program and in 2018, under Tim’s leadership, DCG received the MARS Summit Award for Neighborhood Redevelopment of ABBS, Atlanta Barber and Beauty Supply. Over recent years, DCG has received multiple nominations for small business awards.

He showed me that on a daily and yearly basis. I, too, have now lived it and I now truly understand it. I look forward to DCG's continued growth and I hope to one day work with my son and nephew."
